๐ฑ Help little Mochi find a home!
This tiny cream kitten was found sick and alone in Newtown. She's recovered beautifully and is bursting with love โ but she needs a permanent family. Without a home by 19 April she will need to be put down due to the overwhelming number of kittens at the moment.
Caring for Wellington's feral cats, one life at a time
We're a team of passionate volunteers running trap-neuter-return programmes, managed feeding colonies, and emergency care for Wellington's stray and feral cat population.
Tiger (Karori) needs ongoing wound treatment, and Rusty (Miramar) needs dental surgery. Can you help cover their costs? View urgent cases โ
How we help Wellington's cats
We take a humane, community-driven approach to managing Wellington's feral cat population.
Trap-Neuter-Return
We humanely trap feral cats, have them desexed and vaccinated by a local vet, then return them to their managed colony to live out their lives.
Managed Feeding
Volunteers run regular feeding rounds across Wellington suburbs. Sponsors directly fund a cat's food โ you can even choose which cat you feed.
Emergency Care & Rehoming
When cats need medical help or are young enough to be socialised, we arrange foster care, vet treatment, and where possible, permanent homes.
Where your donations go
We're not a registered charity but we run as a not-for-profit. Every dollar goes directly to caring for cats. Here's how we're tracking for 2025.
Choose a cat to feed for 3 months
Pick a cat from our network and commit to covering their food for 3 months. You'll get monthly photo updates and the satisfaction of knowing exactly who you're helping.
